First bit of learning...

We will start the year with a computer lab.  This will allow you to learn about a (free) program called GeoGebra - useful for trying out ideas - an also to explore the concept of invariance.

The schedule is a little chaotic these first few weeks and I have two sections that meet different days so I will try a table to make it less confusing.  Pay attention to which room we are meeting in.

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog for this course. Math 2 will teach you to approach topics more like a mathematician - using all that you know, whether it be from the algebraic world of math or the geometric world. You will also learn what you can do when problems are so challenging that you are not sure you can solve them.  (Hint: you can always do something!)

This blog will provide you with a syllabus and homework.  Maybe suggestion too. ;-)

It is going to be an exciting year: new school, new friends, new challenges.  Make sure you keep up!  Remember, I am here to help you.  Just ask me.
